We continue to receive complaints from victim-survivors of family violence who have experienced problems with their energy and/or water providers.
At EWOV, we are in a unique position to influence how the sectors engage with and support victim-survivors of family violence. Our case insights and our engagement with providers mean we can identify good practice and opportunities for improvement.
Our new report, Empowering change: Supporting victim-survivors of family violence, provides useful insights to help inform the Essential Service Commission's new ‘Safety by Design’ approach and its upcoming review of the Energy Retail Code of Practice.
