Based on the above data, some points of interest include:
- Backbilling is currently a top 10 case issue but this is worth watching – backbilling reforms have recently been announced, to take effect from 1 July. We would anticipate backbilling complaints to lower over the next few months, as providers tighten their billing practices in response.
- Concession cases remain relatively high given the capacity for systemic changes in this area.
