Overview of project: a proposed transmission line connecting high voltage electricity grids in New South Wales and Victoria, linking EnergyConnect with the Western Renewables Link. The project addresses the need to increase transfer capacity between states in the National Electricity Market. | |

Overview of project: a proposed electricity and telecommunications interconnector between Tasmania and Victoria. The project will enable electricity to flow in both directions and will allow excess energy generated on Australia’s mainland to be stored in Tasmania’s hydro storage. The stored energy could be used at times when energy demand outstrips supply. | |
