This includes residents of caravan parks, retirement villages and apartment blocks. Additionally, business customers who are also serviced by an embedded network for power in shopping centres have access to EWOV.

This change is a result of amendments to the Victorian General Exemption Order (GEO) requiring both network and retail exemption holders to join a dispute resolution scheme. The Victorian energy regulator, the Essential Services Commission (ESC), formally recognised EWOV as that dispute resolution body on 19 March 2018.

If you have not already registered as an embedded network with the ESC, it is important to do so. Its registration portal can be accessed by visiting the ESC website.

It is necessary for the embedded network to be a member of the EWOV scheme before we can fully assist with a customer complaint.
