Based on the data below, some points of interest include:
- Case numbers picked up again in May, after falling to a low of 928 cases in April 2022. May cases were 27% higher than April, with increases in all fuel types – gas and LPG, electricity and water.
- All 5 top sub-issues (Billing>Error, Billing>High, Billing>Tariff, Credit>Collection and Provision>Existing connection) increased between April and May. High billing complaints rose the fastest, going from 79 cases in April to 117 cases in May, our highest figure for high bill complaints since November 2021.
