Events and community visits contribute to an integrated community liaison strategy, which helps us reach different stakeholder groups with information relevant to their interests and needs.

Community visits

Throughout the year, we meet with a broad range of community support organisations that provide information, advocacy, housing, outreach, family, youth, living and learning, as well as with seniors groups, Indigenous groups and other community organisations.

We also take part in a variety of public speaking engagements and in the Orientation Week activities of several universities and TAFE colleges.

All of these activities give us the opportunity to raise awareness of EWOV, and address specific issues with target audiences including EWOV scheme participants, financial counsellors and community workers.
