The Energy and Water Ombudsman (Victoria) (EWOV) receives, investigates and resolves complaints made by electricity, gas and water customers. We’re independent of industry and government and currently have a team of over 100 staff.
Reporting to a Conciliation Team Manager, Conciliators work on multiple cases ranging from initial enquiry, through to case investigation and resolution. The cases range from simple to complex.
Working as part of a small dedicated and professional team the ideal candidate will have the ability to provide excellent customer service by dealing with matters in a highly professional manner to facilitate resolutions.
This is a 12 month contract position.
This role will suit a self motivated person with a flexible approach who has:
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Highly developed problem solving skills
- Investigation and negotiation skills
- Strong time management and administrative skills
Previous experience in an alternative dispute resolution environment will be highly regarded.
