If you owe money
You need to ring the energy retailer or water company — someone can ring for you, but your permission will be needed for the other person to speak on your behalf.
You’ll probably be asked to pay an amount before your supply can be reconnected, LPG deliveries resumed or the threat of disconnection removed.
If you can’t afford to pay the amount the company suggests, say so.
Once you have said so, the company must do certain things, including taking notice of how much you say you can afford to pay.
You
’ll probably have to negotiate a payment plan. Usually this plan will cover your ongoing usage, as well as start to reduce the debt you’ve built up.
Return to Your supply has been cut off (or it’s about to be)
