Primarily EWOV is an alternative dispute resolution scheme receiving, investigating and facilitating the resolution of complaints. We are, however, also committed to informing and educating the Victorian community through our community outreach work.
Promoting EWOV to consumers
EWOV’s Charter, and the Benchmarks for Industry-based Customer Dispute Resolution Schemes (National Benchmarks), require us to build community awareness of EWOV’s services, by promoting the scheme to the public.
This isn’t something we can do once and then forget about — it’s an ongoing task.
Our main approach is to work through Victorian community agencies to ensure community workers have a good understanding of what we do — so you can refer your clients to us, or deal directly with us on behalf of your clients.
